Robert Ian Goodman is
a practicing lawyer
focusing on business immigration and
international commercial law. He is currently immigration counsel to
Sharma & Deyoung LLP, and a principal attorney of C-G Immigration
and Commercial Law Affiliates. He is global immigration counsel to
several multinational companies and regularly provides to small to
midsized businesses advice on a range of immigration-related issues
concerning investment based and employment based U.S. immigration. He
is vice chairman of the board of governors of the World Trade Council
of the Westchester County Association, a member of the immigration
committee of the Westchester Bar Association, and a member of the
American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. Mr. Goodman graduated summa
cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Tufts University, Medford
Massachusetts, with a BA in International Relations in 1986 and in 1990
graduated from the Columbia University School of Law. Mr. Goodman is
admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the District of
Columbia as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and
Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals
and the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a sponsor of the
